Background: After a review of the network's current offerings, and research on multi-year advertising spending trends, the key area for growth was in adding content that attracted Women aged 18-34. ABC Radio Networks needed a high-quality entertainment news offering. This led to exploring a distribution deal with Comcast Entertainment and E!
Scope of Work: From the initial meetings with Comcast Entertainment, to launching the nationally syndicated features, we led the project from start to finish. Our work included negotiation of terms, product development, marketing, and securing distribution through ABC News.
Featured Content: Included seven audio features 30 to 90 seconds in length. Web and mobile offerings included syndicated online content and SMS entertainment news.
Outcome: The new E! News audio features sold out nine months in advance, doubling year one projected revenues.
