Nationally Syndicated Entertainment News

Background: After a review of the network’s product offerings, and research on multi-year advertising spending trends, one of the key growth areas in ad spending was 18-34 women. ABC Radio Networks needed to bolster their sellable audience, and they needed a high quality entertainment news offering. This led to the doors of Comcast Entertainment and E! Scope of Work: From the initial meeting with Comcast Entertainment, to the airing and launch of the syndicated features, I led the project from start to finish. The work included negotiation of business terms, and the distribution deal with ABC News.
Featured Content: Launch included seven audio features 30 to 90 seconds in length. Web and mobile offerings included syndicated online content and SMS entertainment news. Outcome: The new E! News audio features sold out nine months in advance, doubling year one projected revenues.
